The shape of your eyebrows is just as important as the colour and thickness, so ladies who want brows that are bang on-trend next year should opt for the latest straight-across design.
Although the extreme-arched look has been huge for a few years, this is set to be replaced with the straight brow that lifts at the end, The Zoe Report revealed.
If you’re not convinced, just look at K-Pop stars like Jisoo of BLACKPINK, who catapulted the style into celebville, with the likes of Ariana Grande and Zoe Kravitz now sporting the new shape.
Brow expert Melissa Pruett told the publication: “I definitely think this trend coincides with the increase in surgical and non-surgical brow lifts and PDO threads that open the eye.”
This is because instead of the arch pointing downwards, it reaches up to the hairline.
When it comes to colour, most of us are not likely to adopt the latest bleached eyebrow look and will leave that to braver celebrities.
However, more ladies might wear lighter pencils on the brow, which can help open the eye. The theory is if brows are lighter than your hair, it will make your eyes stand out, as opposed to your eyebrows being the thing people focus on.
When Grande showed off honey-coloured hair recently, she made sure she lightened her brows as well to match, otherwise her naturally dark hair would have shown through.
Microblading will also remain popular in 2023, with women opting for a “fluffier wispy over-grown but feminine look”.
